She drove us out the desert To the valley of the death Cause she couldn't have us walking It wouldn't be the best Cause we would get rather thirsty With the problems that that brings And wouldn't be seeing all the sights That are Emily's favourite things She started driving circles Making sure that we were lost Just adding on some miles To justify the cost We drove out to her garden Not watered by a spring The plants, they were her passion They were Emily's favourite things Those plants are tough and hardy And struggled to survive And we wondered at the end of it How on earth they were alive Then we went off roading Hoping that the tyres cling To show us something special Part of Emily's favourite things She told us of the mobsters Their tales and their tricks And warned us if we're naughty We might get eighty sixed And the pink jeep would be lighter As it goes about its fling Driving through the dessert Finding Emily's favourite things She led us underwater By several hundred feet We didnt need to hold our breath Nor to leave our seat

We listened to her wording Her voice it almost sings As she told us of the history of All of Emily's favourite things She told us of the badlands What happened long ago And the silly mule at Badwater That wouldnt drink, oh no That history was the making Of the story that she brings Cause google wouldn't tell us Of Emily's favourite things Her jeep, it was amazing A lovely shade of pink It got us where we needed But might drive us all to drink It took us to the salt flats but We wished that we had wings So we could see much more of What are Emily's favourite things We walked with R2D2 Until minute twenty seven Through the artists pallet where The colours were from heaven Too soon out trip is over The final bell, it rings We've had so much fun just seeing Some of Emily's favourite things So thank you for your driving And the fun that we have had It has all been very special And nothing happened bad With sadness now we leave you Cause you've treated us like kings Showing us your garden All of Emily's favourite things Bruce
